Estate Planning Workshops in the Hudson Valley
Although discussing estate planning may not be enjoyable, it encompasses more than just dividing up your assets among loved ones. Our Estate Planning Workshops are provided free of charge and cover various aspects of estate planning, such as safeguarding your belongings from government agencies, long-term care facilities, and family members; understanding the role of trusts and their differences between revocable and irrevocable trusts; avoiding probate; and determining the necessity of creating a Power of Attorney, Living Will, and Healthcare Proxy.
Moreover, these workshops will also provide guidance on preparing for disabled beneficiaries, ensuring the protection of IRAs, reducing estate taxes, and more. Although these concerns may seem irrelevant once you’ve passed away, they are critical to ensuring the comfort of those you leave behind.
We acknowledge that we should all dedicate more time to planning for ourselves, but prioritizing our loved ones is vital. These workshops are hands-on and conducted in person with Alexander Sherwood Keenan, Esq., an excellent attorney with expertise in estate planning, elder law, real estate law, and business formations.
Our top priority is safeguarding your assets and loved ones. These workshops are educational and completely free, so there is no risk in attending, except, of course, if you expire before doing so.
